Fun Fair and Fresh Milk for the Food Pantry
For our Family Fun Fair, we ran a fitness booth. Kids could roll activity dice and do the exercises on the dice to earn tokens. They could go on the chin-up bar to earn tokens too. We had a TV running FUTP 60 information during the fair too. We also ran the tattoo booth (with our Grover Community Service Club). All the proceeds we earned (almost $100) will be donated to the Mt. Prospect Food Pantry for people to use to buy fresh milk. Our two booths were very popular with the kids. The line was so long at the fitness booth the whole time. We had many, many repeat customers. It was a fun, successful event!!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We ran our first FUTP 60 station last year at the fair. This year, we advertised with the signs that our Student Ambassadors made and gave out more info on the program. The addition of raising money to give to the local food pantry for fresh milk was an excellent way for us to bring together the community with one of the FUTP 60 foundations.
