Success with Funds

With the funds we won from Midwest Dairy for the Breakfast Video challenge, we purchased items to raffle off in our Winter Raffle. We were able to purchase over 100 pieces of equipment for students to take home to help increase opportunities to be physically active.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students have brought their items back to school with them to use independently during recess time, as well as with peers. Students also shared that they are using their equipment with their siblings and parents when they get home from school. As a 90% low income building, being awarded this money has provided an opportunity for many students to increase their physical activity opportunities.
