Our Fuel Up to Play 60 team hosted a Fun Run at Erin Hills Golf Course on October 8, 2016. We had over 300 community members participate by running or walking the mile or 5K course. We had chocolate and white milk donated from Kemp's Dairy and our FUTP 60 Team proudly handed out milk and other FUTP 60 information as they encouraged the other participants.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our FUTP 60 student leaders assisted with our Fun Run in many ways. They took part in the organization, set-up, and clean-up of the event. They also worked the FUTP 60 booth at the Fun Run. At this booth, our team shared information about FUTP 60 and encouraged other participants in their effort to finish the 5K race. They also handed out chocolate and white milks that were generously donated by Kemps Dairy. As a team, we provided a fun fitness event for over 300 participants.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goal of providing a health enhancing activity for our community by working together with our community. We had our teachers, parents, and many community businesses take part in making our event fun for everyone. We were able to offer a variety of donated raffle prizes to participants, and we encouraged everyone to stay active and make healthy choices. We were also able to promote Fuel Up to Play 60 and our amazing dairy farmers. It was truly a legend-dairy event!
