We made a video of the Loess Hills breakfast time. Students were willing to talk about the importance of breakfast and how that helps them perform in the classroom, because they were not hungry and thinking about food.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students worked with me to first be on the video talking about the importance of eating a healthy breakfast.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We entered the social media contest with the video and met our goal by winning $500. It also let the school and students know that we are a Fuel Up to Play 60 school. That means we need to play 60 minutes a day and make healthy choices about eating.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

First of all, we talked about Fuel Up to Play 60 in my PE classes. The students know that they need to get 60 minutes of activity a day and make healthy food choice.
