The FUTP 60 leadership team ensured the success of our walk-a-thon by promoting the event with families, students and the community.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Allegan Public Schools offered a Kindergarten Round-up for our community this spring. Parents and soon-to-be kindergarten students were invited to the high school to enjoy many wonderful, engaging activities, bringing administration, teachers and students together to put on a super event. North Ward's FUTP 60 Student Leadership Team wanted to help with the event to encourage our newest AHS students to strive to eat healthy and get lots of exercise. The student leadership team helped serve a nutritious snack, explain the benefits of eating healthy and getting excercise, assist the kids getting exercise in a bounce-house, help with the milking of Bessy the cow, and serving ice cold milk at the event. Our FUTP 60 leadership team were awesome ambassadors of good health and were key in making the kindergarten round-up an event students, family and the community will not forget!
