I used information from the FUTP 60 website to get the player representatives' favorite activities and gather some of our teachers' favorite activities, and I compiled them into a bingo challenge card that students could complete and turn in for a chance at some small prizes. Each spot on the board required 60 min. of that activity outside of the school setting. My kids were super excited for it, and even though it was optional, EVERY student in the school took one.

How did you accomplish your goals?

This challenge accomplishes the goal of getting student involved in activity outside of the school setting.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Because the challenge was a take-home challenge, a lot of the activities on the card involve parents playing with their children in order to receive the credit for doing the activity.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

I have had students come up to me and excitedly tell me how much activity they are doing at home now!!!
