Future Leaders at Altoona!
Callie and Sandy are two fifth graders who taught their classroom a Brain Break. The girls wanted to get more kids involved in their grade to sign up for FUTP 60, so they took matters into their own hands...literally. They asked the classroom teachers if they could teach the class about Brain Breaks and why it is so important that kids move throughout the day. The picture shows them working with their class and teaching them all about it.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The girls asked their classroom teacher to designate a time for them to teach the class. The classroom teachers and the girls all worked together to coordinate a time where kids could come in and learn more about what they were doing and to get more involved in FUTP 60.
