Breakfast For Everyone — First Meal Matters
Access to Healthy Foods
Student Ambassadors/team leaders work on promoting healthy eating habits by bringing healthy snacks and food for a pre-game meal for the soccer athletes.  Some of the food/snacks that are brought in are protein snacks, bananas, and apples. Our team leaders always advise the student athletes to make their way to the cafeteria, which also provides them with milk or chocolate milk with their food.  This is provided right after school for those participating in physical activities after school.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

They meet and plan what snacks to bring for the game.

How did you accomplish your goals?

They brought the snacks before game time and we escorted the students to the cafeteria.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This system is shared throughout the whole athletic department for every sport.
