We realized that our Kindergarteners aren't quite moving enough so a schedule change was needed! We kicked off our Fuel Up to Play 60 challenge by incorporating a Morning workout session! Each morning students are invited to come in for a rigorous 30-minute workout session! Students learn dance styles from around the world, and, after a nice cold drink of water, head to class eager and ready to learn!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Because students and staff have responded so well to our Kickoff, I have decided to make the AM Bootcamp a permanent fixture in our classroom. Staff and students are welcome to join us for workouts each day!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers and other staff enjoy working with the students learning new dances and moves. Teachers help students with exercise techniques while students teach teachers how to accurately incorporate "swag" into dance moves.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Proper Preparation leads to better performance! We planned an exciting Kickoff activity that students and staff enjoyed. We will also be incorporating a "try this; fruit and vegetable tasting table" into the classroom!
