At our school we have started the 100 Mile Club. In the mornings, instead of kids sitting and waiting in the gym for school to start, they are walking around the cones (our track) and getting "miles" in. When it is nice outside, they walk the track outside. They are starting their day being active! We've also started a student wellness committee and they are pumped! They are logged in and ready to do any challenges set before them. They are creating posters to promote awareness for both the 100 Mile Club as well as our breakfast Play.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are aware of the staff challenges (fit bit, water, eating more fruits and vegetables, etc.) and are excited to get involved. We will have a challenge board soon in our gym where students can call out and challenge a staff member to an activity. Kids are excited to check in that they've eaten breakfast each morning and they are also pumped to earn Points by walking more with our 100 Mile Club Play.
