Physical Activity Participation

Our PE teacher started a walking/running club that meets before school in the mornings. They walk indoors during bad weather and outdoors during good weather. They set goals of how far they want to walk via a map of the United States. They have a stretching routine they do before they walk to ensure no one pulls a muscle.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We basically made announcements and sent information home in the school newsletters with a start date and all the information and any student that was interested could attend any time they wanted to. We posted a map of the US so the students could track their progress and each semester we distributed certificates to students that reached their goal. We will do this again this semester.
