We just implemented the Fuel Up to Play 60 program in our school. The students have jumped in with 2 feet. We started with our Student Council who helped spread the word and encouraged other students to become involved. In just the first few weeks, we had over 60 Challenges completed. We have our first ambassador at our school and hope to have many more to follow. We implemented a ticket system for points earned. For every 1000 points earned, the student receives a ticket for a drawing. On Fridays, during announcements, our principal announces 5 winning tickets. The winners get to choose from all the Fuel Up to Play 60 merchandise for a prize. We are excited to begin this program and can't wait to continue to add ambassadors.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Getting the information out to the general student population by using the Student Council members.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students are more excited about being active.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Continuing to reward students for their efforts and point levels by using the drawing for motivation.
