Go Pack Go-gurt Day

On December 18th our Fuel Up to Play 60 team went to all of our Intermediate classes and passed out Go-gurts donated by our local McDonald's. The students presented to each class about who they are, what they are doing, and why they are doing it. The kids were very excited to share their excitement with each classroom. I have a feeling we will be having more kids sign up in the near future. Our team interviewed students from each classroom and asked them what healthy foods they liked to eat.
The team also asked what else the students would like to try in the future. The FUTP 60 group also tried out smoothies after they put the bike blender together. The kids worked hard getting it together and loved trying it out. All the group members have decided they want to do a smoothie taste test with their classmates. This will be next on the agenda of events for our club!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Since we completed the go-gurt snack day the kids have been anxious to get another event planned for their classmates.
