Although the "Got Milk" campaign has been retired for a few years, the Hart Student Health and Wellness Committee felt the idea is still a good way to make drinking milk and creating the milk mustache a fun event for all. Our committee was able to take time from the holidays and present a "get active" performance by having the school staff do "Ram, Sam, Sam" and the "Got Milk" event for our faculty meeting. Everyone had a great time and the message was clear: get active and enjoy a nice cold glass of milk!

What improvements have you seen at your school?

More students are encouraged and are drinking their milk during lunch.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students actually modeled the behavior for our faculty.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal was to bring awareness to the our faculty with the intention of it trickling down to their students. Pictures of the teachers with their milk mustache were shown to the students during P.E. classes. Students enjoyed seeing their teachers with their funny mustache and perform a physical activity.
