Our school implemented Grab and Go Breakfast this year. We were awarded the grant last year and were able to get it running every morning. The students get a different setting and different food choices than the cafeteria eat and can converse with their friends. A different daily menu is posted and the students now know the routine. Attendance is steady and our goal is to get more students eating breakfast daily by providing different options and settings. We are also continuing our Brain Breaks and use of stability balls and bouncy bands in the classroom. We have some classrooms with exercise bikes and some with different seating options. We have given all the teams in our school a bag of equipment and ideas to share and use in their classrooms as easy and quick activities. We are thankful for the extra funds and support from Fuel Up to Play 60 to help us reach our entire population.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to continue the Grab and Go and Brain Breaks every year and hopefully continue to increase participation
