 We offered parfait breakfasts to the students on Fridays during the month of January. The parfaits are provided by the Grand Ledge Food Service.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students organized this activity; they are in charge of advertising, selling, and delivering the parfaits to the students. The middle school students write up the morning announcement, the elementary students make the posters, and the elementary students on the team also help deliver the parfaits. It is a group effort to make it happen.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This is our second year offering parfaits to the school. The school has never had a breakfast program until Fuel Up to Play 60 started this.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The parfaits are delivered the night before, so accurate tally of ordered parfait is critical. Students sometimes forget their money to pre-order and teachers donate their own money.
