The students at PCIS participated in the Great American Milk Drive this year. The students in the school were asked to donate spare change during their lunch periods for one week, and they were as able to participate in a "Half Day Hat Day." This event took place during a half day of school; the students were asked to pay one dollar so that they could wear at hat during the school day. Between the hat day and the spare change drive, we were able to collect $160 for the Great American Milk Drive, which equaled out to 32 gallons of milk donated to a local food pantry.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal was accomplished by raising more money then we planned. We started the drive with the hope of raising $100 and in the end we raised $160. I am very proud of the students in our school who stepped up and helped out with the spare change drive and the hat day event.
