Here is a picture of our Kick-Off Day. We coordinated the event with the opening day of the NFL season. Students and staff were encouraged to wear their favorite NFL team jersey. It was AWESOME! We also played football skills and drills in Physical Education all week. We worked on kicking, throwing, play calling, and more!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We planned this event before our school year started. We put it on our social media (https://twitter.com/FreeHomeES ) . We made morning announcement on our morning news and sent home email reminders about our Kick Off event. Students and staff were encouraged to wear their favorite jerseys. Our lunchroom was decorated with Falcons gear. It was an AWESOME day!
