Students and parents walked or biked to school on Thursday October 6. Student ambassadors and students enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60 also organized a display on a table just outside the entrance of the school. Ambassadors and enrolled students greeted parents and students informing them of the Fuel Up to Play 60 program. Information was handed out to complement the principal newsletter article and the lessons from Ms. Salter regarding the program. Ambassadors had lanyards to identify themselves and shared their experiences with the program. They also showed how to log on and become a participant.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Student participants along with Ms. Salter, the Program Advisor set up the display table and posters outside. We also explained the program, sharing our experiences and answered any and all questions. We showed how to sign up and log in to the program for anyone interested.
