Access to Healthy Foods

The Fuel Up To Play 60 team is participating in growing their own vegetables in a school garden bed. They learn to plant and weed and water and grow vegetables. And then the best part is eating them.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Everyone worked together to clear the area, then plant and water the vegetables. We also made a poster promoting eating healthy, gardening and being fit to hang up in the hall at school.
