Our FUTP 60 leadership team planned and implemented a Kick Off Carnival on October 28. Our 800 students visited the carnival in 45 minute blocks, and played games to win tickets for healthy smoothie snacks. Some of the games were 5-5 Air Force Football, Gaga Ball, Celebrity Dunk Tank, Football Egg Toss, and Flag Pull Sharks and Minnows.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Our leadership team worked with sponsors to create and lead all of the carnival games. We have representatives from each grade level, and they provided great insight into activities that their peers would enjoy. They worked with teachers to keep our "Celebrity Dunk Tank" stocked with fresh faces, and got help from our art and music teachers to make healthy smoothies. Students and staff had a blast, and it helps build a foundation for a healthy year here at HMS.
