Access to Healthy Foods
Fayetteville Schools and Asbell Elementary participate in the Farm to School Program by purchasing locally grown/produced foods. Each month the district highlights a food. All children are offered a sample to try and recipes are sent home for the parents. Children vote of the new food/recipe. If the food was a hit with the students, it will then be placed on the permanent menu. This program really gives children the opportunity to try new new foods and learn about the importance of eating local.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?
