Health Physical Activity Breaks

In health classes we implemented short physical activity breaks during each lesson. Students also worked toward outdoor breaks on Fridays if all work was completed during class for the week. We hung up a reward chart in class to show how well students were progressing throughout the week. This served as motivation for all the students to be positive and productive during class!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge I met was when one of my classes did not meet their goal for the week and could not go outside for the reward. It was hard for me to motivate that class the following week.
