St. Cloud Elementary School is committed to having students understand that good healthy habits are a life long skill. Students are made aware that physical activity and nutrition should be a part of their daily routine.
The St. Cloud students receive physical education twice a week. They engage in moderate to vigorous exercise for the first 10 minutes of class. This is called “10 Minutes of Fitness”. Students perform various exercises to increase muscular strength and endurance, aerobic capacity and flexibility. It also raises awareness of the importance of exercising and the positive effects exercise has on the body, soul and mind.
