We encouraged our students to do a 21 day healthy snack challenge where they would change their snacking habits from eating sweet or fatty foods and change to eating fruits, vegetables, and dairy products other than ice cream. Students took it to heart and made their own healthy snacks and bragged about them at school. Then finally they brought their snacks to school to eat. It was a big hit with students sharing and comparing how healthy their snacks were.
