Students from the Affton High School FUTP 60 team helped out with Rogers Middle School's Heart week events. We are so proud of these students for dedicating their time after school to help guide the middle school students through drills and skills stations to promote good health and a healthy heart. Great job to all the students who participated and acted as mentors and role models to the middle school students.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The students worked with the FUTP 60 Program Advisor to learn about health while promoting a healthy heart. Different stations were set up for the students and the high school students helped lead the middle school students through the drills and skills stations.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Part of the goals of the AHS FUTP 60 team are to be mentors and collaborate with the other schools in the district. This event allowed the students to show leadership and teamwork at the same time to work towards their goals of collaboration and mentoring.
