Community Involvement
Our athletic program decided to help support one of our beloved teachers at Heritage High School, Mrs.Brandon, who had been recently diagnosed with kidney cancer. We first started by selling t-shirts for $15 dollars to our soccer team and the other athletic programs around us. This was very successful for our community, after seeing how impactful this was within our sports community. We began selling the t-shirts throughout the school community.  We decided to start selling t-shirts and accepting donations at all the athletic events occurring around this time, also very successful. Finally after several events working towards raising money for Mrs.Brandon we presented a check to help her family with expenses.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goals by working together as a team within our community to help raise money for Mrs. Brandon. By coming up with ideas within the team and putting them into play, we were able to raise a lot of money for Mrs .Brandon. It's all thanks to our community working with our athletic program to make this happen.
