Our Success Story is based on last year’s 2nd Annual Fuel Up to Play 60 bulletin board contest. Because of the bulletin board contest and the voting element, our school discussed daily in Physical Education class the objectives of Fuel Up to Play 60 (exercise 60 minutes daily and eat healthy). Students were required to go online and vote for our board. Also, our bulletin board was in a central location at the entrance of the school cafeteria. Students saw the board every day at school and the board created awareness of the Fuel Up to Play 60 program. Fortunately for our school we won 2nd place (3rd place overall) in the contest and received $500 in Physical Education equipment. Our school is very appreciative to Fuel Up to Play 60 and the knowledge that our students are gaining because of the program.
