Blackburn conducted its second annual food box assembly event. This effort would not be as successful as it was without the hard work of staff and the generosity of the Omaha Community and our Blackburn parents, who gave of their time to amass the holiday food boxes. More than 60 boxes were shared with our Blackburn student community!!

How did you accomplish your goals?

Teamwork was the answer! We came together as school staff, students, community support, and parents. We believed in each other and everyone enjoyed the hope and encouragement that was shared by all!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The collaborative efforts that made this event a success included classroom planning, administrative support, collective marketing, fundraising, and lots of work by everyone!
