Under the guidance of Joanie Beltz, the PE Teacher, the Honor Students of Humboldt Academy of Higher Learning have completed 183 Challenges in the FUTP60 Program. They have been coached through Ms. Beltz's efforts to lead classrooms in daily exercise breaks. The Honor Students hope to eventually improve their outdoor exercise environment and increase opportunities at the school for daily exercise. They are in the process of developing a research-based video to reinforce the importance of daily exercise! Very impressive!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Mrs. Beltz took time to work with students and help them with their research into the importance of exercise. The students are very dedicated in thier quest to improve exercise opportunities in the classroom and outdoors.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge is to find resources for improving outdoor exercise opportunities at the school.
