HOSA- Future Health Professionals and Fuel Up to Play 60 made baked oatmeal and served it to students and parents at our Honor Roll celebration. Students researched recipes, bought and made the oatmeal along with additional healthy toppings. Milk and fruit were also served to over 300 students and their parents.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

HOSA-Future Health Professionals make up up the leadership team for our Fuel Up to Play 60 grant. We always have a Honor Roll breakfast and students wanted to serve a healthy breakfast as an alternative to donuts. They researched and decided on baked oatmeal with nuts, craisens, and milk. We were also able to have a box of bananas donated from our local Kwik Trip. The oatmeal was a big success with many taking the recipes we typed up. We plan to contiue doing this next year.
