Crockett is starting a new club...The Garden Club. We've chosen a spot outside right beside the amphitheatre (perfect for teaching health/nutrition classes) and it has been fenced off. Lots of work has already gone into prepping this garden and we're looking forward to explaining how our food goes from the farm to our plates!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults worked side by side to create the idea and see it come to fruition. Then they worked together on a concrete plan and putting in the work to get this garden started.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

It is challenging being able to have steady help to take care of the garden project. We are also having some issues financing the project.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We will have students who are interested in the garden club simply sign up and attend weekly meetings (throughout the year) to plan for and work on the garden.
