Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos

Students participated in a team-building challenge by playing a game of human Hungry, Hungry Hippos. This game involved communication, strategy, movement, and collaboration in order to be successful.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students used strategies in order to accomplish the goal of retrieving the most food. Students had to use thinking skills since they were given a small basket, and the game consisted of two different sized balls to challenge students to think critically.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Students were able to accomplish their goals of using critical thinking skills to achieve success and utilize teamwork.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We do not have a gym at our school, so we are always having a challenge of teaching in places that can be loud and disruptive.
