Fuel Up to Play 60 Kickoff

Hyde Park kicked off their 2015-2016 Fuel Up to Play 60 program on Oct. 2 with the help of Rob May. Rob attended Waukegan High School, where he played football for the Waukegan Bulldogs. GO BULLDOGS!!!!!! During his time as a Bulldog, they were two-time All State Champs; Rob was an All-American Linebacker at Mt. San Antonio College, and went on to play three years at Florida State University. He played in every game as a Seminole. Rob is a five year veteran in the AFL. Rob continues to give back to the Waukegan community by holding youth football camps, coaching, and talking to youth groups on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and applying yourself to be the best you can be in school. Rob was joined by the district Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor (Coach Ryan). Coach Ryan led students through fast pace drill stations, while Rob spoke with the students on living a healthy lifestyle and the importance of doing well at school. Hyde Park students enjoyed a fun and healthy all-school parfait breakfast with the help of Aramark. The student leadership team, under the guidance of Program Adviser Ms. C made posters and encouraged students to join the Fuel Up to Play 60 program.

What improvements have you seen at your school?
