Our Fuel up to Play 60 Leadership Group decided to create an "I AM THE LEADER OF MY FITNESS" wall to display pictures of students being active outside of school. Our play is You Can Do It – We All Can. Our group discussed the many reasons why students may not be as active as they should each day. Our group discussed many barriers to being physically active in students’ lives, and talked about ways to overcome these barriers the best they could. Our leadership group decided it would be great for everyone to see our students being active outside of school, so they decided to buy two large bulletin boards where students can display pictures of themselves being active in different ways. Our group’s goal is for others to see the board and become inspired by what they see, and hopefully, find different ways to become more active.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

We created a Google Classroom so everyone could brainstorm and discuss different ways to help individuals to become more physically active.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our leadership group encouraged students to bring in pictures from home to display the different ways individuals can be active outside of school.
