Here at Jeff Davis High School, we have implemented three community-wide 5K races throughout the year. After the race, healthy snacks are shared with participants. These races are quickly becoming a much-anticipated event in our school and community.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students and adults both worked hard to organize, host, and participate in these events. By creating a buzz about the races, many people were encouraged to run or walk in multiple races.
