We are having Roy Scott of Healthy Hip Hop kick off our Fuel Up to Play 60 event with a live assembly at our school! He will be showing the website, Healthy Hip Hop, where kids can participate in brain boosts. All three of the second grade classrooms will be utilizing the brain breaks as well as possibly adding their own versions to their class roster.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We met with our principal and he was on board with Healthy Hip Hop to come and share how to use the website during an all-school assembly. Student teams will be attending the faculty meetings this year and sharing different brain booss with teachers and staff. During PE, the recess P.A. boxes will be taught so students will know how to use boxes.
