Student Leadership

At Abrams Elementary, our students and teachers are taking five min. breaks in the classroom now with the Just in Minute fitness routines. They are all enjoying themselves doing aerobic exercise to get that 60 min. a day of exercise.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Teachers are buying in because students are showing interest that they want to stay fit.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our school goal of 60 min. a day moving has been reached by getting 30 min. of physical education and the other 30 min.of moving in the classrooms.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Our Play will last throughout the school year because our students are motivated and believe that staying fit is a lifestyle and not a choice.
