Our student leaders wanted to try recruiting more students to join a sport. So they decided to have a three day After-School Drills and Skills Day. Student leaders brainstormed on what drill and skills they wanted to introduce to their fellow peers and also received help from fellow coaches.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Students worked together as a team by collaborating on different ideas to get more students involved in after-school sports.

How did you accomplish your goals?

We accomplished our goal by advertising for this event with daily announcements, flyers posted around school, and social media

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The improvements I have seen at my school are the increase in participation numbers for our athletic programs.
