Physical Activity Participation

All of the students in our physical education classes participated in the Jump for Heart activities during their class time. This involves raising funds for healthy hearts, in which the students can win prizes and the school receives part of the funds back. Our PE teacher has used the funds in the past to purchase needed equipment for her classes! The students all had a good time jumping rope during their classes.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Our students benefit by having new equipment in their physical education classes and by learning how to jump rope with other students, which is a great long term exercise.
