Students were given a cooking demonstration by our cafeteria manager. She showed them how to make kale smoothies in a blender with yogurt and fruit. After learning about the farm to school program, with the spotlight on kale, the students tasted the smoothies. They were a hit! Students asked for seconds and would like to have them for breakfast.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We plan to keep taste testings at Stonewall Tell. Right now we do it once a year, and we would like to increase to 2 times next year.
