Kennedy's Fun Walk/Run

Normally, we aren't allowed to run in the hallways. That changed on Thursday, October 20. On that day, students, family members & teachers met for our first ever mile walk and run. Everyone was so pumped to run in the hallways. It was eight laps around our school, stopping for drinks of water along the way. Once we finished, the raffle began, and people received medals, footballs, bags, and more! Someone person even got a signed Bears flag! Finally, every participant lined up in front of a giant Fuel Up To Play 60 poster for a picture. This was a great start to our Fuel Up To Play 60 Season. So glad we got our school community moving!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The student leaders were so excited to chat with the principal to ask for permission for our mission. They were thoroughly prepared & enjoyed the experience.
