Physical Activity Participation

Students created a dodgeball event for students and parents to engage in Friday, Nov. 13. The event went amazing with 160 people participating and another 150-200 spectators. The gym was so full of energy! All the students were asking when our next event is! Our team meets this week to work on the details for Dance December!

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

This was just the first of a series of monthly community challenges. Next month we will do Dance December and extend that into a dance-off show Friday night with the community. Students are already talking about their dance selections!

How did students and adults work together as a team?

Parents volunteered to be referees and chaperones, and also warm up with the students. The team would like to see the parents more involved next time.
