With the starter kit Fuel Up to Play 60 sent us, we were able to hang the Bears poster in our lunchroom. It was a great addition to our lunchroom and got the students curious. They started asking about the program and how they could get involved! We then started a running club at our school from the funds we received last year! The students went on a 5k field trip and continue to make healthy choices daily thanks to the reminder of Fuel Up to Play 60!

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

We have a very small student body, and limited resources. We don’t have a computer lab or even a librarian. It was hard to get students to be involved online with the program.

How did students and adults work together as a team?

The adults were able to hear what programs the students wanted and the adults helped to facilitate them!
