Access to Healthy Foods

We had a guest speaker come in to tell the whole school how to grow fruit trees, from planting to harvesting and on to the value added foods that they make from the fruits they produce. It was great to see and hear about those foods.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

We are thinking about gardening at our school. The tree fruits would not be included, but this gave us some thought on what it takes to plant and harvest even the vegetables that we might use.
