Learning Rugby Skills
Our FUTP 60 students have spent three weeks learning the skills of rugby. We are very excited to be offering this opportunity this year, as it is our first year teaching the students the ins and outs of rugby. We hope this will encourage students who have not played before to use this as an opportunity to learn something new and possibly teach others.

How did you accomplish your goals?

For years I've wanted to introduce rugby to my students, however, have not had the equipment. With the help of Illinois Rugby Association, I am now able to offer this to my FUTP 60 students. They will be acting as leaders of the program to teach and encourage other students to play. I hope with the help of future funding, I am able to obtain more equipment to share with all the school.
