Learning the Game of Football
We are getting kids to learn about the game of football and stay active around their community outside of school. Many students enjoy the game of football, although no all know how to play. The number of kids involved quickly increased as they advertised and promoted Flag Football to their peers. This was a great way to reach out to kids that need after-school activities to stay out of trouble and simply stay active while having fun.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

A challenge was getting kids involved but once a few students participated they went and told other kids. Now they ask every day if we will have NFL Play 60 Flag.

How do you plan to make this Play last during the school year and beyond?

Allow kids to participate after school during the year, especially summer time.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Students that seemed to have trouble in school with grades have improved.
