Physical Activity Participation

My name is Cedric Collins and I am a Physical Education teacher at Vista Grande High School in Casa Grande, Arizona. I also serve as the school's Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor. I have introduced the sport of flag football to my female class, and they are enjoying it especially since Casa Grande is a small rural town located 40 miles outside of Phoenix and never introduced NFL Catch 'N' Go to the town's kids. 

What improvements have you seen at your school?

The improvements I have seen is that the girls are really getting excited about class and are very enthusiastic about being active. Many of the students are freshmen so they are learning the transition from junior high to high school which can be a difficult transition for some.
