Physical Activity Participation

We handed out pedometers to our grades participating in FUTP 60 during PE. Their goal was to see who could walk the most steps during their allotted time. They enjoyed it so much that they continued to keep track of their steps even after the contest was completed!

How did you accomplish your goals?

The students were taught about the health benefits of exercise and walking. They enjoyed the challenge. We continue to encourage them to walk at home and invite parents to join them.
