Physical Activity Participation

The Fine Arts team at Lincoln School hosted an annual fine arts night. Student art work was displayed, the band and orchestra played, the chorus sang, and the PE department had a dance party at the end. Students showed off their dancing skills while getting some great exercise.

What challenges did you face and how did you overcome them?

Getting all of the students to realize that "dancing isn't just for girls" was a big challenge this year. We talked about how dancing is great exercise, it lets you be creative, and a lot of male athletes dance as a way to stay in shape and to work on flexibility and coordination.
